New Nevada Shooting Range in Clark County

I've been following the protest in the news against the proposed shooting complex in Clark County, Nevada, north of Vegas.

For all practical purposes it seemed they were just spinning there wheels as it looked like a done deal with all local politicians on board.

A posting in Trapshooters.com states that construction has started.

Something for everyone at the complex, not just for shotgun shooters.

A listing of the Clay Target Shooting facilities:

- 24 combination Trap and Skeet fields.

- Sporting Clay Courses (4)

- International Trap Bunkers (3): Designed for international traps, these bunkers include shade ramadas and night lightning.

- Trap Fields (101): Standard trap fields with shade ramadas for every two fields. Every group of 24 includes a 1,500-foot classroom/restroom combination building. These ranges also include 405 full service RV hook up sites.

An up to-date fact sheet (February 2008):

  2. This new Clark County,NV shooting park is top notch in appearance but the rules and guidelines for competitions will probably stall this great investment.I would like to SEE the rules for use of the shotgun area and who has to supply what and fees that have to be paid. I recently visited this location but I could not get information in written form?????
