Rochester Brooks Spring Deuce, Looking Back

I'm registered for the FITASC, Preliminary and Sporting Clays main event at the 16th Annual Spring Deuce, April 27-29th, 2012, Rochester Brooks Gun Club, Rush, New York.

An NSCA Big Blast Shoot that always has 200 shooters plus in attendance.

Small gauge events in addition to preliminary, FITASC, and main event.

Always a nice turnout of New York shooters and a big turnout from Ontario and Quebec. Not unusual to pass a squad and hear them discussing target presentations in french. A 5 to 7 hour drive for the Quebec shooters. May be the best attended sporting clays shoot by Canadians in the USA.

Motels are 15 minutes from the club and shopping centers 15 minutes north of the motels.

Referees work all three days of the shoot. May I add, very knowledgeable of the rules. Not many missed calls at the Spring Deuce!

Machine break downs resolved quickly. Always plenty of water on the course.

What can I tell you, one of the better shoots...

I was going through my web postings and found a bit of history from past shoots:
