Information for Club de tir L'Acadie (Club L'Acadie)

The Montreal Anglers & Hunters Club, better know as Club de tir L'Acadie is scheduled to host a number of tournaments this year and in following years that will be drawing shooters from outside Quebec, to include clay target shooters from the USA and Europe.

The club is southeast of Montreal and only a 35 minute drive from the NY I-87 border crossing.

To assist those who have not visited the club, I posted an information page that provides driving directions to the club (to include GPS input), motel listings, and a link to the nearest KOA campsite.

Club de tir L'Acadie Directions & Information (You will leave this page when you click on the link)

Highly recommend you have access to some type of GPS device, as French is the spoken language and directions in English may be hit and miss depending on the neighborhood. I don't speak French an manage to bounce around Quebec without any problems.

Through the posted page you can link to information for visiting Canada with a Firearm.  Be prepared to pay $25 (Canadian) for a 60 day permit, per person.  No handguns.

For those returning to the USA after a tournament, an Enhanced Drivers License (driving only) or a passport will be required.  An everyday drivers license is no longer accepted!

Feel free to email me directly if you have any questions.  I don't live in Quebec, but will do my best to point you in the right direction.
