I remember it like it was yesterday, a six hour drive and stopped on Highway 401, the exit sign in view. 15-20 minutes before traffic started to move.

This was before GPS and Google maps, meant Rodi Domencio near the airport and followed him to the club.

An Italian social club with boccia ball and an outdoor shrine for prayer and meditation. All PA announcements in Italian.

Sit down lunch with homemade Old Country Italian food, to include Sicilian. On each table three or four bottles of homemade wine. I was given a bottle to take home.

Alamance Wildlife Club - Graham, North Carolina

A one field club, every month a 100 target registered shoot, each month a different gauge. It was the 28 gauge the month we attended.

Four man squads and cook your own hotdogs. We had the van everyone else a pickup truck. A couple times shooters were warned to watch the language as a lady was present : )

Four times I got to station 8 low going straight and three times I missed a target.

A money shoot and we both took home a few dollars.

Sixty-nine shooters in attendance, with 59 shooting skeet, 46 shooting 5-stand, and 43 shooting the trap event.  

Plattsburgh shooter Bob Howard was HOA with a 144.  Bob also took the trap & 5-stand events, the trap event with a 49 and the 5-Stand with a 48.  Dean King with a 48 won the skeet crown.  The skeet event consisted of one round of doubles and one round of regular skeet.  The trap event was one round of 16-yard and one round of 20-yard.  Fifty targets were shot in the 5-stand event.  

Thirty-two hams were awarded as prizes.
