This is a two-day shoot.

Sat August 17th is the 100 bird sporting clays, a 50 bird 12 gauge and a 50 bird 20 gauge.

On Sunday is the 100 bird Super Sporting and a 50 bird simo event.

NCSC (Williston, Vt) Beat the Heat Shoot - Saturday 7/27

I hope your summer shooting season is going well.  Our next 5-stand shoot in Williston is coming up at the end of the month on Saturday 7/27.  We will again have a 100 target main event, shot on two fields and a 50 target "Fluff side event.  These are NSCA registered events, but non-registered, "Hunter" class shooters are always welcome.

Registration is again being handled through Scorechaser at the link below.  There is one difference:  I am writing to announce the shoot tonight, but registration does not open until this coming Friday 7/5 at 6pm ET.  The popularity of our recent shoots has been a very nice problem to have.  But it has led to difficulties squadding people that would like to shoot together.  So please take time between now and Friday evening to gather your squadmates and make a plan to register early for the squad time you want (maybe even a plan B).

CAN-AM 100 at Underhill (Vt)

Underhill Rod and Gun Club is holding its first two day shoot this year on Sat 7/13 and Sun 7/14   On Sat we host the CAN-AM 100 at which we will take the top 5 cumulative scores from both sides of the border to determine the winning team.   

Trophies will be presented That are engraved  (UR&GC 2024 CAN-AM WINNING TEAM MEMBER)  Trophies will also be presented to HOA, RU and 1st and 2nd place in all NSCA classes.

 On sun the 14 we hold the Vermont State Warm UP which is 100 bird sporting plus two side events   See attached Flyers

Coffee, Cannoli & Pizza at the Shoot

At the shoot this past Sunday (Driven Gentlemen - La Roue du Roy). A Coffee and Cannoli station before the shoot started (free). I didn't try the coffee but had two cannoli. Hey, my sugar was low. Don't think I can go back to Dunkin Donuts.

Station #7 on the front course. People shooting the stand maybe 75 feet away. A wood fired Pizza oven. Help yourself to a slice (or two or three). Good texture and good taste.

If you're having a gathering in the Montreal area I'd look these guys up.

 It's been a few years since the last club fun shoot but back in the day always a good turnout (and well run).

Vermont State Trap Shoot - Jun 14/16 2024

Just a reminder that our May shoot was canceled to allow for prep work for the June shoot. We have another work party May 19th and plan to install the traps and be throwing targets.

Montpelier Gun Club Memorial Weekend Shoot Cancelled

 Just wanting to let everyone know, our Memorial weekend "Warm-up shoot" has been canceled for this year. Our progress at rebuilding after the flood has been amazing, but to be ready for our VT State shoot (June 14-16th) the Warm-up shoot would have been a big distraction from our finishing touches. Again, thanks go out to all who have supported us in our time of need.

We are making progress every day. Our voice release systems just came back from Target Shotguns after complete overhauls! Many thanks to them for the way they treated us, we appreciate their support of Vermont trapshooting and the Montpelier Gun Club!
